Care for some critique?
Of course! I'd appreciate critique for any of my stuff.
This raptor design is like RETARD COOL, no kidding. I absolutely love the graphic look, and they just look like a ton of fun to draw!
The background is CRAZY hard to read however. The busy grass has sharp lines, which muddy up the over all image, as the raptors/background elements also have sharp chaotic lines.
The bottom-raptor's left spine/spikes are also pretty hard to make that out. I feel if you extended the canvas on the bottom a bit, showing us some body/the connection of the spine - this will clarify things a bit.
Over all, watch your staging, You could exaggerate the depth and mood by making the mid-ground raptor smaller.
I really love some of the design elements you got going on here - I think it's worth it to investigate several species in this style, maybe look into how you can make the landscape/environment fit the graphic style as well. Could be fun
